Hollister House Garden in Washington will hold a Twilight in the Garden party July 7 from 6 to 8 p.m.

A rain date of July 8 is slated.

The party will feature wines, cheeses, hors d'oeuvres and scenic views throughout the garden situated on a 25-acre hillside behind a 18th century farmhouse.

The garden is one of only 16 gardens currently designated a Preservation Project by the Garden Conservancy. In 2010 it was placed on the list of National Register of Historic Places and was named a town landmark site by the town of Washington.

Tickets are $25 per person and $45 per couple, or $20 per member or $35 per member-couple.

The garden, located at 300 Nettleton Hollow Road, is open Saturdays from 8 to 10 a.m. and 3 to 6 p.m. through August and from 10 a.m. to noon and 2 to 5 p.m. in September.
