‘Holiday on the Hill’ set in Warren
The town of Warren will hold “Holiday on the Hill” Dec. 1 from 5 to 8 p.m.
Santa Claus will kick off the festivities with the lighting of the town tree. After, he will be available for visits in his workshop.
Other offerings will include letters to Santa and visit with kittens from Wells Valley Cat Sanctuary in New Milford at the library; toys and stories at Warren Historical Society; for adults, sips of Smoking Bishop and dips into the Wassail Bowl; a stuff the firetruck with unwrapped gifts (or gift cards to Walmart, Target, Amazon or iTunes) event for boys and girls ages 7 to 18, and sip hot chocolate and eat treats at the Warren Volunteer Fire Company; rides aboard a holiday tractor wagon; the Friends of Warren School’s Festival of Trees raffle and children’s only store at the community center; a chili cookoff at Warren Congregational Church ($10 for adults and free for children 12 and under); treats at the Warren General Store; and a holiday bon fire in the community field.
Drinks from Hopkins Vineyard and the Litchfield Distillery will be offered.
Parking will be available at the Warren School, Warren Congregational Church and community center.
