The Judy Black Memorial Park and Gardens in Washington has announced its upcoming family-oriented holiday events.

Offerings will include a holiday craft day Nov. 23 from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by a 4:30 p.m. screening of Disney’s “Coco,” and a Holiday in the Depot sing-a-long Dec. 14 at 5:30 p.m.

Both events, provided in conjunction with local partners and the community, are open at no charge to the public.

Local artist Katie Ré Scheidt will lead the rain or shine holiday craft day.

Washington-based Averill Farm will provide apples; and the Judy Black Park will provide pizza and popcorn to accompany the movie.

For the Holiday in the Depot event, pianist Sharon Ruchman will perform and lead the sing-a-long, Marisabel Artieda will offer face painting and a craft activity for children and Averill Farm will provide warm apple cider.

Local business partners will offer S’mores over the garden bonfire, and other snacks and additional holiday surprises will be included.

The holiday events will crown a year’s worth of public program offerings by the Judy Black Memorial Park and Gardens, including weekly Saturday farmers markets, concerts, theatre, outdoor movie nights and more.
