Henry Orzech, 83, had been a farmer

Mr. Orzech was born Sept. 8, 1927, in New Milford, son of the late Jacob and Amelia (Gavel) Orzech.
A graduate of New Milford High School, he was a dairy farmer for 40 years on his family farm, Green Meadows Farm. He was later employed for 20 years as an insurance agent with Farm Family Insurance Company, retiring in 1993.
In addition to his wife of 56 years, Mr. Orzech is survived by three sons, Thomas Orzech, and his wife, Joan, of New Milford, Mark Orzech, and his wife, Suzanne, of Round Rock, Texas, and Leon Angelovich, and his wife, Crystal, of New Milford; two daughters, Karen Orzech, and her husband, Lance Collister, of Missoula, Mont., and Elaine Fogarty, and her husband, Everett, of New Milford; a sister, Helen (Orzech) Johnson, of Washington; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated tomorrow (Saturday) at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church, Route 109, New Milford. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, New Milford.
Friends may call today (Friday) from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge St., New Milford.
