Henry Kimlin, 68, lived in New Milford
Henry M. Kimlin , 68, of New Milford, died Sept. 25 at home after a long illness. His family was at his side. He was the husband of Catherine H. Kimlin.
Mr. Kimlin was born Oct. 11, 1943, the son of the late Miles Kimlin and Helen Kimlin Cooper, of New Milford.
He had been employed by Circle Asphalt and Sega Ready Mix in New Milford for many years prior to his illness.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Kimlin is survived by two sons, John Kimlin, of Danbury; and Ted Kimlin, and his wife, Lori, of Florida; a stepson, Michael J. Owen, of New Milford; a stepdaughter, Tammy Oviatt-Owen, of Gaylordsville; three granddaughters, Tanya, Paulina and Kristina; two grandsons, Johnboy and Robert; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and cousins Stanley Roberts, of Little Falls, N.Y., and Leslie Roberts Thurston, of New Milford. He was predeceased by a stepson, John M. Owen Jr.
An Oct. 6 graveside service took place at Morningside Cemetery in Gaylordsville. It was followed by a get-together at St. Peter's Masonic Lodge in New Milford.
