Harvest party to aid Kent fund

The Friends of the Eric Sloane Museum will hold a harvest party in support of the Noah Blake Cabin Restoration Fund Oct. 14 from 4 to 6 p.m. on museum grounds.

The cabin was built in 1974.

Offerings will include dinner; a silent auction that includes signed Eric Sloane books, signed Eric Sloane prints and an original illustration by Sloane; the sale of several original oil paintings by Eric Sloane; a bonfire; and ingredients to make S’mores.

Beer will be available for purchase from Kent Falls Brewing Company.

Admission passes are $10 per person as a donation, with 100 percent of the ticket sales to benefit the restoration fund.

Admission includes dinner, free admission to the museum, tours of the Noah Blake cabin and an entry ticket to win one of 100 Eric Sloane books.
