Harrybrooke Park Haunted Trail in New Milford huge success: ‘It was really very scary’

NEW MILFORD — Harrybrooke Park Haunted Trail, which took place over the past two weeks, made a comeback after being canceled last year due to the pandemic.

For the event, Harrybrooke partnered with The New Milford Lions Club, The Children’s Center, United Methodist Church, Boy Scout Troops 432 and 66, and local businesses.

“This event has been good and very scary in the past, but every organization has really stepped up their game this year,” said park Executive Director Billy Buckbee. “It was really very scary and longer than ever before. Adults and kids alike shared screams, laugh and gave us great feedback during and after the event. We could not be more thrilled to have such tremendous success especially after a year away.”

Harrybrooke Park and Harden House Museum is a nonprofit organization. For more information about volunteering, contact Buckbee at 860-799-6520 or email Harrybrookepark65@gmail.com.
