Harlem Wizards to visit Shepaug Valley School

Shepaug Valley School in Washington will play host to the world-famous Harlem Wizards Jan. 6.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., followed by the activities at 6:30 p.m.
The event, presented by the SVS and Sherman School Parent Teacher Associations, will feature a variety of interactive extras to complement the Wizards' demonstration of hoops artistry.
Offerings will include pregame "Wiz Kids" warm-up, contests, comedy, slam dunks, audience participation, merchandise giveaways and more.
The game will conclude with the Wizards' signature dance extravaganza that will have the crowd on their feet!
The Wizards will play a game against a team of “SherPaug All-Stars” featuring Joe Moravsky, a Sherman and Shepaug alumni who many will know from his run on NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior.”
The event will be held in the gym of the 159 South St. school.
Tickets start at $12 for students and $15 general admission in advance and $15 for students and $18 for adults at the door.
Courtside Plus tickets will be available for $35 and entitle the guest to first or second row seating and to a private meet and great and show with selected Wizard players before the game.

All proceeds will benefit SVS and Sherman School PTO activities, such as field trips and other enrichment opportunities for the students.
Founded in 1962, the Wizards have played over 15,000 games throughout the US that have raised over $25 million for schools and charitable causes.
The Wizards have also played in over 25 foreign countries on five continents.
