HORSE of Connecticut in Washington will hold a three-day tack sale Nov. 16-18 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

HORSE is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization established in 1981, that moved to its permanent home on Wilbur Road in 1995.

Staffed by a team of volunteers, HORSE has saved over 700 horses and maintains an ongoing commitment to educating the public regarding horse care.

The tack sale is one of the ways the organization raises funds to continue its mission.

Among the items for sale will be new and used saddles, bridles, blankets, saddle pads, chaps, boots and helmets, all sold at a portion of their original cost.

Featured items will include a 15” Travis Bohannon Western saddle, a 17” Isabel Werth Cair Dressage saddle, Ariat women’s insulated paddock boots and Saxon women’s Equileather field boots.

HORSE sweatshirts, T-shirts and hats will also be available.
