HORSE sets Christmas open house

The Humane Organization Representing Suffering Equines (HORSE) of Connecticut will hold its annual Christmas open house Dec. 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A snow date of Dec. 13 is planned for the event, which will follow social distancing guidelines and masks.

Offerings will include hourly tours to meet horses, a silent auction featuring toys and horse accessories, a bake sale and gifts.

Gift options will include OMI Jewelry by Lise, bracelets and necklaces by Amy, assorted horsey stuffed animals, wreaths, handmade scarves and hats, and a Prai gift basket filled with skin care products and Equilibre Body Lotions.

The tack shop will also be open, and sponsorships for the horses will be offered.
