Gunn library sets identify theft program

Gunn Memorial Library in Washington will present a program, `Protect Yourself from Identity Theft," with Attorney Metta Rehnberg Delmore April 7 at 6:30 p.m.

The program will address how to prevent, detect and respond to identity theft.

Identity theft is the nation's fastest growing crime -- and one that can do incredible damage to one's finances, credit and peace of mind.

The Federal Trade Commission estimates that as many as nine million Americans have their identities stolen each year.

The program at the Wykeham Road library is free and open to the public.

Registration is recommended by calling 860-868-7586.
