Coach: Chris Piel, 2nd year as head coach, 11th season with the program.

Assistants: Daryl Daniels , Ryan Fitzsimmons.

2008-09 results: 20-3 record; won the South-West Conference championship and the New Milford Invitational; runnerup in state class 'L'.

Significant losses to graduation: Luke Andrade, Justin Duffany, Austin Freeman.

2009-10 captains: Nick Amorando, Adam Lynch, Matt Saraceno.

Coach's outlook: "The Green Wave has a team motto, "Six points or six minutes." This means we are either going to pin our opponents, or they are in for a dogfight for six tough minutes. New Milford feels its conditioning is the key to its success. If we are outmatched, we will not be outlasted. This abiding philosophy is not new this year, or even last. It has been instilled in the program since the days of coaches Daryl Daniels and Pat Burns. Because of this, we have set our goals high."
