The Bridgewater Grange has announced its events for the rest of the year.

The Bridgewater Grange has announced its latest happenings.

Regular meetings will be held the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.

Future meetings will be held Aug. 14 and Sept. 11 at the grange hall on Route 133.

The hall will be open during the Bridgewater Country Fair's fireman's parade Aug. 16 from 6 to 8 p.m., during which time they will serve water and iced tea and offer the use of their facilities.

A roast beef dinner will be held Sept. 14 and Oct. 12 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Dinner is $12 and the music is $3 per person.

A hootenanny presented by Jeff Case and Friends will follow, concluding at 10 p.m.

New this year will be a contest for the design of a town flag for Bridgewater.

Selectman William Stuart has been informed and approves.

Peter Orenski, known as "Flag Man" in New Milford, who assisted with New Milford's flag, will serve as consultant for the contest.

Events are held at the grange hall on Main Street, unless otherwise noted, and are open to the public.
