The Bridgewater Grange recently presented its annual Bridgewater Grange Community Service Award.

The award is given in recognition of outstanding volunteer work and is given every April.

This year’s recipients are Joe and Adrian Caruso, of Bridgewater, who were honored April 29 for their work in beautifying the area with various flower plantings and for their volunteer work with students.

At the award meeting, Grange Master Nancy Mascio gave a talk about the grange, then introduced the Carusos and explained why they were chosen for the award.

Adrian spoke briefly about their work, giving back to the community and the importance of inspiring young people to do the same.
