Grace Scattolini, 91, talented needle worker

She was born Aug. 8, 1916, in Danbury, daughter of the late Eugeneio and Caroline (Saccomandi) Montesi.

Mrs. Scattolini worked as a trimmer for Frank H. Lee Hat Company for many years. She was a very talented needle worker.

She was a member of the New Milford Senior Center.

She will be sadly missed by a son, Nicholas Scattolini of Oxford; two daughters, Carolyn Critelli and her husband Fred of New Milford, and Linda Culhane and her husband Gary of Brookfield; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by a brother, Morris Montesi of Danbury; three sisters, Anna Tarsi, Mary Miller and Rose Rishdan, all of Danbury; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Glenn Critelli; a great-grandson, Peter Goral; two sisters, Molly Massif and Josephine Forgione; and a brother, Eugene Montesi, Jr.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated today (Friday), at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Danbury.
