The Glenholme School in Washington will host its fourth annual 5K Run for Autism Nov. 12.

Glenholme is a boarding and day school for students with high functioning autism spectrum disorders and various social, emotional and learning differences.

The run will begin at 10 a.m. at Steep Rock Preservation, 2 Tunnel Road.

The course is open to runners and walkers and their dogs.

The level, out-and-back dirt course hugs the scenic Shepaug River.

Race registration is $20 and will be accepted through Nov. 9. Advance registration can be completed at theglenholmeschool.org/2017-run-for-autism.

Race day registration is $25. The dog fee is $10 on race day.

Registration will open the day of the event at 8:30 a.m. The first 100 registrants will received a T-shirt.

Prizes will be awarded in all divisions, including the top three registered dogs, and special awards will be given to the top male and female finishers.
