The Devereux Glenholme School in Washington has earned reaccreditation by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges for the next 10 years.

Glenholme is a therapeutic boarding school for students with special learning needs.

Following two years of self-study and reporting, Glenholme administration and faculty members identified four areas for focus and direction to enhance opportunities for students, which the association then approved.

The areas are in alignment with the expanded mission, increased opportunities and activities, increased independence and greater responsibilities for highest-achieving students, and the development of a comprehensive English Language Learner program.

In its letter to the school, the commission praised the school community for its "beautifully maintained facilities that offer a wide variety of spaces to enhance academic, living, social, creative and recreational activities."
