Gayle Bishop Miller, 58, of Bethlehem, died April 10 at home.

She was born on Aug. 23, 1954, in Easton, Pa., and lived in Venezuela, Lexington, Ky., and New Milford. She graduated from New Milford High School, Class of 1972, and was a Chi Omega sorority sister, graduating from Eastern Kentucky University with a bachelor's degree in business.

She managed a clothing store in New Milford and Nutri-System locations in Waterbury, Danbury and East Hartford.

She and her husband, Roger, were married on July 1, 1989, at the United Methodist Church in Waterbury.

She attended the First Congregational Church of Bethlehem. She loved country music, science fiction and to dress up when she went out.

She loved good food and socializing. She was known for her sense of humor that could light up a room. She supported Nonnewaug High School cheerleading.

She lived with her mother, Elizabeth Bishop, her husband, Roger Miller, and her children, Andrew, 20, and Paisley, 18. In addition to those family members, she is survived by her brothers, Gary Bishop, of Lexington, and Howard Bishop, of Salisbury, Md.

A memorial service will take place April 20 at 1:30 p.m. at the First Church of Bethlehem, UCC, 21 Main St., Bethlehem.
