The Garden Club of New Milford will host its next meeting, featuring a roundtable discussion on opening the garden, saving the bees and new plant introductions, Tuesday, April 8, at 1 p.m.
Ginny Driscoll will lead the discussion.
Leaders will provide their tips and experiences for success and answer questions on a specific topic related to opening a garden. Attendees will have a chance to spend 15 minutes at each station before moving on to the next topic.
Handouts, including recent articles on these topics, will be available.
The club's Save the Bees initiative will kick off with the distribution of seeds for members to plant a garden that attracts both bees and butterflies. New plants for 2014 will be introduced, identified and reviewed.
In addition, orders for Garden Club of New Milford shirts will be taken.
