The Children’s Center in New Milford will hold its gala fundraiser Nov. 3 from 5 to 8 p.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church.

In its 47th year, the center has had 3,500 graduates.

Open seating will be offered at the church’s parish hall, 7 Whittlesey Ave.

The gala will feature appetizers, a pasta station, a carving station, a salad and vegetarian station, a dessert buffet, and a wine and beer bar.

A silent auction, which will end at 6:30 p.m., will include a variety of items such as gift certificates to restaurants, golf outings, wine, heating oil, a cord of firewood and more.

Live auction items, including a trip to Ireland and the antique diamond ring donated by a friend of the school, will also be offered.

In addition, most importantly for the school, a “Fund the Need” general appeal will be available.

Jack Gilpin, rector of St. John's Episcopal Church, will serve as the master of ceremonies.

The center operated at the church hall for the first eight years

Tickets are $100.
