New Milford Adult Education has announced changes to GED tests beginning in January.
On Jan. 1 the GED Tests will change for the first time since 2002.
This means people who have taken some parts of the GED tests must complete and pass all sections by December, or they'll have to start over with a new high school equivalency test.
Adult educators are seeking to reach test-takers who need to finish.
Anyone who has taken some of the five subjects on the GED tests or who needs more points to pass is encouraged to call Adult Ed at 860-350-6647, ext. 1170.
Adults of all ages can prepare for GED testing through the New Milford Adult Education program.
Students who successfully pass will receive a state high school equivalency certificate and qualify for new opportunities in the workplace and in post-secondary education programs.
