Updated 10:24 pm, Wednesday, December 26, 2012
Mr. Becker was born in West Point, N.Y., son of Vicki Becker and the late Frank Becker Sr. He graduated from Housatonic Valley Regional High School in Falls Village, and was a resident of New Milford.
He was a salesman and worked for several companies: Snapple, Ford, AWD and, most recently, Lopresti and Sons Carting.
Sports played a major role in his life, especially softball. He loved the game, loved winning and being the best at it.
He also loved to travel to warm sunny places, throw the ball with his beloved dog, Hank, and cook on the grill for everyone.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a stepdaughter, Gina Larkin; a stepson, Joseph Larkin; his dog, Hank; two sisters, Pamala Thorp and Sandra Becker; three nieces, Michaela Groves, Kristen Groves and Jennifer Lopez; and a nephew, Thomas McGivern IV.
A celebration of life will be held tomorrow (Saturday) from noon to 4 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, 68 Danbury Road (Route 7), New Milford.
The Lillis Funeral Home in New Milford was in charge of arrangements.
