The New Preston home of Peter Duchin, society band leader and son of Eddy Duchin and Brooke Hayward Duchin, has been put on the market for $1.1 million.
Klemm Real Estate announced the listing.
The home was a former cider mill, built circa 1800, and it functioned in that capacity until World War II.
In the early 1960s, it was converted into a home, was utilized as an antique shop and, years later, as a bookstore.
The Duchins purchased the property in 1992 and added numerous amenities to turn it into an updated country home.
"The home is beyond dramatic and charming," said Carolyn Klemm, listing agent representing the Duchins.
The focus of the home, located in New Preston village, is a waterfall.
