To the Editor:

Bridgewater voters could not have a better candidate for first selectman than Nancy Hawley.

Her professional background in management and finance, along with a clear understanding of the workings of Bridgewater's town government, make her the best choice.

Her experience on the Board of Finance as chairman and vice chairman for three of the last four years have afforded her the opportunity to create a clear, fiscally responsible plan for improving town government.

Nancy is not afraid to speak her mind. She is an independent thinker who has a proven track record professionally, personally and through her volunteer work.

Nancy is accessible, honest and committed to creating a government that will promote respectful dialogue and sharing of ideas for the betterment of Bridgewater.

I've known Nancy for many years, both personally and professionally. I believe Nancy Hawley is the only candidate who has the energy, experience and leadership skills to move Bridgewater forward.

I urge Bridgewater voters to support Nancy Hawley for first selectman.
