It was truly "A Walk To Remember."

A fashion show and silent auction hosted Friday, April 5 by senior Vanessa Wolfe at Shepaug Valley High School in Washington proved to be an artistic, entertainment and fund-raising success.

The Region 12 student held the event as a benefit for the Travis Roy Foundation, which is dedicated to improving the lives of people who suffer from spinal cord injuries.

The fashion show was held on the auditorim stage with current and past Shepaug students serving as the models for clothes designed and created by Vanessa.

The event also featured a silent auction designed to raise funds for the foundation. Among the many items for auction were dinner certificates, a cord of wood, salon gift baskets, gym memberships, yoga classes, designer purses and handbags, Bridgewater chocolate and a hand-knit Afghan.
