The New Milford High School Future Business Leaders of America will hold its fifth annual FBLA basketball exhibition game Nov. 30.

Doors will open at 6, with the game to start at 6:30 p.m. at the high school on Route 7 South. It will feature the NMHS faculty versus the New Milford Police Department.

Admission is $5.

A $500 scholarship will be awarded to a senior student who wins a half court shootout contest at halftime

A $1,000 donation will be made to help the family of Timmy Larson, an eighth-grade student at Schaghticoke Middle School who was recently diagnosed with a rare cancer brain tumor.

Since June, he has had five brain surgeries, battled meningitis, and undergone powerful proton radiation treatments at Mass General Hospital in Boston.

Timmy’s older brother is a NMHS student and his grandmother is the school’s nurse.
