Eugene Fiengo, 81 worked at Kent School

Mr. Fiengo was born Feb. 20, 1930, in New Milford, son of the late Charles and Mary (DeFelice) Fiengo.
He was a maintenance worker at Kent School for 15 years and a painter with the Pacocha Brothers for over 30 years.
Mr. Fiengo was a volunteer with the Kent Fire Department for more than 20 years.
He played baseball with the Kent town team and was an avid Yankee baseball fan.
He loved working with his hands, especially making things out of wood.
Mr. Fiengo enjoyed his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife of 51 years, Mr. Fiengo is survived by two daughters, Gina Jager, and Lori Bennett; a stepson, Alan Pingree; a stepdaughter, Lynn Foster; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
The Lillis Funeral Home of New Milford is in charge of arrangements.
