To the Editor:

It is about time to bring in the new and rid the region of the old.

New ideas, new blood is needed because the Region 12 Board of Education is failing its students and its residents.

Time for change has come and each and every voter in Washington, Roxbury and Bridgewater should perform their civic duty and go out to their polling place to vote for the new individuals who are running for the board.

I hereby endorse John Buonaiuto as one of the new members on Region 12 Board of Education.

My family has known John for over 18 years. He is a family man, a good husband and father.

He is very civic-minded and very concerned with the well-being of residents, students and the workings of the towns.

He is intelligent and very intuitive to the needs of the education of the children of these three towns, and now is the time for change for the better.

The board we presently have is very complacent, and we will all suffer by our real estate taxes going up, especially in light of Governor Malloy putting the burden on the towns of 100 percent of state troopers and whatever else he can deflect to towns.
