Elizabeth Adams, 64, lived in Bridgewater
Mrs. Adams was born Dec. 14, 1946, in Danbury, daughter of Michael Sedor of Newtown and the late Frances (Renner) Sedor. She grew up in Newtown.
Shortly after marrying Glenn Cecil Adams, the couple flew to Germany to experience the world while young. Upon returning, she devoted herself to her two great loves, family and her career.
Mrs. Adams loved to work almost as much as she loved her family and throughout decades successfully worked for a variety of small business in the area, including Olsen Heating and Plumbing, The Gold Report and Mitler and Mercaldo of Danbury, her final place of employment.
She was known to have boundless energy and never sacrificed her family for her work. She could often be found helping out with the Bridgewater Grange dinners, making jellies and jams or supporting St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Bridgewater.
Mrs. Adams always had time for her family and for humanity.
In addition to her husband and father, Mrs. Adams is survived by a son, Jason M. Adams, and his wife, Geri; and two grandsons, Miles Carter and Glenn A. Adams, of Newtown.
Interment in Bridgewater Center Cemetery will be held later this spring.
The Honan Funeral Home of Newtown is in charge of arrangements.
