Several places of worship and organizations in the greater New Milford area will offer Easter-related activities in the coming days.

Northville Baptist Church in the Northville section of New Milford will offer a candlelight Tenebrae Good Friday service March 25 at 7 p.m.; an Easter sunrise service March 27 at 6 a.m., followed by a breakfast, and an Easter service at 10 a.m.

Festivities will be held at the 9 Little Bear Hill Road church.

The First Congregational Church in New Milford will offer egg dyeing (bring your own eggs) and a screening of “HOP” in fellowship hall March 25 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and an Easter service March 27 at 10 a.m.

The church is at 36 Main St.

Sherman Congregational Church will offer a Good Friday service March 25 at 7:30 p.m.; an Easter sunrise service at Sherman Town Beach March 27 at 6:30 a.m.; and an Easter service March 27 at 10 a.m.

All events, except the sunrise service, will be held at the 6 Church Road church.

A Good Friday ecumenical service will be held on the Village Green March 25 at noon.

Roxbury Congregational Church will offer a traditional Easter family worship service with special music and a children’s sermon on Easter, March 27, at 10 a.m.

An outdoor sunrise service will be held on Easter, March 27, at 6:30 a.m. at Good Hill Road, near Upper Grassy Hill Road on the Woodbury town line, followed by a 7 a.m. breakfast at the 24 Church St. church.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Washington will offer confessions March 25 from 10 to 11 a.m., the Passion of the Lord at 3 p.m. and the Stations of the Cross at 7 p.m.; a blessing of the food March 26 at 10 a.m., confessions at 11 a.m. and an Easter vigil Mass at 7 p.m.; and Easter Mass March 27 at 10:30 a.m.

The church is located at 34 Green Hill Road.

Salem Covenant Church in Washington will hold its annual Easter bake and flower sale March 26 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Pies, cakes, Easter desserts, breads, jams, decorated eggs and flower arrangements will be for sale at the church, 96 Baldwin Hill Road.

Ten percent of the proceeds will benefit Loaves and Fishes.

Easter Mass will be held March 27 at 8:30 a.m. at St. Patrick Church, 25 Church St., in Roxbury.

The Glenholme School in Washington will hold its annual spring egg hunt March 26 at 11 a.m.

Each year since 1995, the students involved in The Glenholme School’s community service program and the Glenholme LEO club have organized this community event.

Offerings at the 81 Sabbaday Lane school will include an egg and candy hunt, visits with the Glenholme Hare, face painting, refreshments and more.

Participants are asked to bring a canned food item to be donated to an area food bank.
