Dorothy Anderson, 95, died April 6 at Litchfield Woods in Litchfield. She was the widow of Einar Anderson.

Mrs. Anderson was born June 8, 1915, in Watertown, to the late Henry and Agnes (Richardson) Cook.

She had been a lifelong local resident.

Mrs. Anderson was an avid bingo and card player, and loved going to the casino.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by two sons, Donald Anderson, and his wife, Anile, of Lakeside, and Hank Anderson, and his wife, Madeliene, of New Milford; two daughters, Sally Lukos, of Watertown, and Marilyn Bernier, of Torrington; a sister, Evelyn Thompson, of North Carolina; 22 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by two children, Nancy Gilbert and William Anderson; two brothers; and seven sisters.

The Rowe Funeral Home of Litchfield was in charge of arrangements.
