Doris Hager, 100, had worked in New Milford
Doris (Cassidy) Hager, 100, of Brookfield, died Nov. 19, 2010, at the Bethel Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Albert Hager.
Mrs. Hager was born Oct. 24, 1910, in East Berkshire, Vt., daughter of the late Creighton and Mary Jane (Longley) Cassidy.
She graduated in 1929 from Enosburg High School in Vermont.
Mrs. Hager was employed for many years as a machine operator at the Robertson Bleachery Co. of New Milford.
She is survived by a son, Albert (Buddy) Hager, of Brookfield; a daughter, Ruth Rajcok, of Fort Myers, Fla.; nine grandchildren, Cindy Richardson, and her husband, Pete, of Vermont, Ronald Rajcok, of North Carolina, Gary Rajcok, and his wife, Helen, of Florida, Cheryl Medeiro, and her husband, Manny, of Danbury, Donald Rajcok, and his wife, Linda, of Florida, Larry Rajcok, and his wife, Karen, of Florida, and Deborah Peterson, and her husband, Dan, of Seattle; 28 great-grandchildren; and 28 great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Gerald Hager and Richard (Dick) Cassidy; three grandchildren, Jack Rajcok, Patricia (Rajcok) Beers and Darlene (Rajcok) Balotti; and a son-in-law, John Rajcok.
The Lillis Funeral Home of New Milford was in charge of arrangements.
