Members of the Woman’s Club of Danbury and New Fairfield had a busy January. Members visited several organizations in the Greater New Milford area to deliver a variety of donations. Old phones were delivered to the Danbury Women’s Center, reams of computer paper were donated to Volunteers Income Tax Assistant, birthday bags were organized for the Danbury Women’s Center and laundry soaps, toiletries and shopping bags - that will be used to assist needy families through the Dorothy Day Program - were donated to the Market Place on West Street in Danbury. In addition, WCDNF T-shirt sales are supporting a beautification project at a local nursing home. Above, New Milford resident Karla Ryerson delivers the donations to the Market Place.
