Donald W. Minck, 77, of Brookfield died Nov. 2 at Danbury Hospital. He was the widower of M. Alice (Grenache) Minck.

Mr. Minck was born March 12, 1927, in Torrington, a son of the late William Minck and Pauline (Bergaman) Minck Banks.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as an aircraft munitions loader. He was employed for over 25 years as a machinist for Sieburg Industries
. He was a member of the Institute of Management Accountants.

He was a parishioner of St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church and is remembered as a family man who enjoyed his grandchildren.

Mr. Minck is survived by two sons, Jeffrey and his wife Marie of New Milford, and Donald II of Branford; a brother, George of Newtown; and four grandchildren, Kyle, Laura, Lisa and Ilana.

The Brookfield Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
