David Kuhn, 39, devoted to his family
He was born Nov. 8, 1972, in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., son of Deacon Peter and Joyce (Martinez) Kuhn.
He was known to have a zest for life. He loved to play video games and enjoyed writing.
He always kept a positive "can do" attitude and with that he fought and beat cancer several times.
Mr. Kuhn was a gourmet cook who loved to be around his family.
He enjoyed alternative and folk music, riding a bicycle and all aspects of staying fit.
Mr. Kuhn loved his little girls -- they were the light of his life.
He loved going on cruises and traveling the world with his wife. He gave his whole heart to his wife, his family and especially to his children.
In addition to his wife, Jennifer, and his parents, Mr. Kuhn is survived by his daughters, Kathryn Rose and Sydney Hope Kuhn, and their mother, Michelle Behr, of New Haven; his sister, Jennifer Birdseye, and her husband, Eric, of Washington; his grandmother, Catherine Kuhn, of Poughkeepsie; his uncle and aunt, Douglas and Mary Anne Greene, of Washington; his niece, Haley Birdseye; three nephews, Kyle Birdseye and Tristan and Dylan O'Toole; two cousins, Elizabeth Gibb and Jonathan Greene.
The Cornell Memorial Home in Danbury was in charge of arrangements.
