Culinary school taking orders
The Community Culinary School of Northwestern Connecticut in New Milford is accepting St. Patrick's Day corned beef dinner catering orders.
Classic corned beef and cabbage dinners with potatoes and carrots are $10.95.
Orders must be placed by March 13 by calling 203-512-5791 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Dinners can be picked up March 15 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church hall, 7 Whittlesey Ave., New Milford, or by prior arrangement.
Proceeds will benefit the school, which has been providing unemployed and underemployed men and women with the skills they need to find jobs with career paths in the food services industry since opening in August 2007.
