The Community Culinary School of Northwestern Connecticut in New Milford will host a community harvest breakfast Nov. 2.

The school will prepare and provide hearty, fall-themed breakfast offerings, featuring seasonal ingredients from local farms, from 8 to 9 a.m. at 7 Whittlesey Ave. in New Milford.

Seasonal produce and foods will be used in dishes prepared by the culinary students, with goods donated from Averill Farm, Fort Hill Farm, Tamarack Farm, Bantam Bread Company, Maywood Gardens/Bridgewater Village Store/Bridgewater Bistro and more.

Proceeds from the event will support the school’s job training and placement programs.

Breakfast is $20, with tickets available at http://communityculinaryschool.org/event/2017-community-harvest-breakfast/ through Oct. 27.

Participants can also make a donation to the Community Fund, which provides a meal to an individual in need in the local community through the New Milford Food Bank.
