Kent Memorial Library will present a multi-faceted program about coyotes Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. at Kent Town Hall.

Paul Colburn, a graduate of the Master Wildlife Conservationist Program and a certified Master Wildlife Conservationist, will lead the program, “Eastern Coyotes in Connecticut,” focusing on the natural history of coyotes in Connecticut, an overview of coyote habitat, diet, behavior, reproduction, and current research efforts, at town hall on Kent Green Boulevard.

In addition, the talk will provide practical recommendations for optimum coexistence with our coyote population.

The topic of bears will also be addressed.

The presentation will run 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the level of audience engagement.

It is intended for ages 12 and older.

Coyote artifacts will also be shared with the audience.
