The 63rd edition of Bridgewater Country Fair soaked in the sun and the adoration of its dedicated thousands of fans last weekend on the grounds behind the firehouse along Route 133.

Patrons from the Greater New Milford area and well beyond shared a good time Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 15-17, hosted by the Bridgewater volunteer firefighters and their countless helpers.

The event is held annually as the Bridgewater Volunteer Fire Department's chief source of funds.

Opening ceremonies and the traditional parade kicked things off Friday evening.

From that point, the many on hand enjoyed the fair's usual assortment of tractor pulls and lumberjack shows, the firemen's muster, musical performances, great food, carnival rides, raffles, arcade games, pet parades, cattle and poultry judging, pig racing, flower and

vegetable contests, and more.
