The Silo Cooking School in the Northville section of New Milford, now in its 40th year of operation, will kick off its 2013 season with a Super Bowl Warm Up class Jan. 27.

Chef Denis Debellis of Woodbury's John's Cafe will be the teacher.

Future classes will feature Valentine's macarons with Chef Kathryn Gordon Feb. 2; a Valentine's wine dinner pairing for couples and friends with Chef William Cosgrove Feb. 9; a Valentine's sweets and treats class for children ages 5 to 13 with Nancy Stuart Feb. 9; a weekend of Mediterranean cooking with Chef Rea Varveris Feb. 23-24; Passover foods with Sandy Daniels and Liba Furhman March 3; a Sweet Maria's cupcake workshop with Maria Sanchez March 10; an Easter feast -- Italian style -- class with Chef Daniel Rosati March 16; an artisan breads at home class with Chef Rosati March 17; a spring dinner course with chef Sara Moulton April 6; a spring tastes class with Chef Moulton April 7; a shushi and sake workshop with Chef Mamie Nishide April 13; and a Japanese street foods course with Chef Nishide April 14.
