Constance "Connie" Lombardo, 57, of Gaylordsville, died April 16 at New Milford Hospital. She was the wife of Allen C. Lombardo.

She was born June 24, 1955, in Stamford, daughter of the late Frank Carl and Harriett Myra (Brown) Taubl.

A member of the Ridgefield Artist Guild, she was an artist and sculptor, an avid gardener and renowned for her culinary skills when cooking for large gatherings.

Known as a great designer in the construction industry, she and her husband co-owned and operated Connecticut Remodeling for many years. She also worked at Big Al's Toy Box in Gaylordsville with her husband.

She was a resident of the Dorwin Hill area of New Milford for 25 years before moving to Gaylordsville in 2005.

In addition to her husband of 30 years, she is survived by a brother, Carl Taubl, of Stephentown, N.Y., and a host of friends.

The Colonial Funeral Home in New Milford was in charge of arrangements.
