Concetta Avallone, 95, of Indialantic, Fla., passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2007, at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Fla. Born in Fondi, Italy, she moved here from Danbury in 1991. She was member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Concetta resided with Rita and Tony DeLuca in Danbury and Melbourne for 35 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Giuseppe Avallone and two daughters: Attilia D'Angelis and Jinetta Avallone. Survivors include two sons: Frank and Rocco Avallone, both of Oviedo, Fla.; daughter, Rita DeLuca of Melbourne; sister, Marietta Avallone of Bethel; six grandchildren: Joe Avallone of Florida; Vincent DeLuca, Tina Avallone, Marina Weldon, Joe Avallone of Chicago; and Lorella Putnam and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday from 1 to 3 p.m. A funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel followed by entombment at Florida Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to Life Care Center of Melbourne on Sheridan Street in Melbourne, Fla. Florida Memorial Funeral Home in Rockledge, Fla. is handling arrangements.
