Concerts slated at Hunt Hill Farm
Hunt Hill Farm in New Milford will present several concerts in the coming days, with the Boogie Boys to perform March 30.
The Boogie Boys of Connecticut, a three-piece combo comprising of piano, vocals, saxophone and drums, will be held at 5 p.m.
The benefit concert will feature soups from culinary director Chef Mary Kravec, as wells soups prepared by local singer songwriters.
Local craft beer from around the area and wine will be available to purchase.
The band consists of vocalist and pianist Larry “Buzzy” Fallstrom, Kris Jensen on saxophone and Nick Longo on drums, whose styles include jazz, blues, swing, country and roots rock and roll.
Tickets are $20 and will benefit the Ruane Emergency Artist Program at Hunt Hill for acting, drawing, painting, songwriting, music performance and culinary arts.
An emerging artist concert, featuring singer-songwriters Nick Arne, RivaJean and Emma Kiara - who have been selected for the REAP Program - will be held April 19.
All three musicians will perform, the proceeds from the suggested donation of $10 for the concert go directly to the three performers.
Vocalist Diane Blue, a skillful harmonica player, will perform in concert May 25.
