Clay artists to sell Mother's Day gifts in Danbury

DANBURY -- Seven potters from the Connecticut Clay Artists will hold a Mother's Day show at the former Reuben's store next to Marcus Dairy on Sugar Hollow Road from Friday through Sunday and May 8 and 9.

The hours each day are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The show will have hand-built, wheel-thrown and sculpted pieces of stoneware, porcelain and earthenware. The clay is fired in electric, wood, gas and Raku kilns.

Members of Connecticut Clay Artists who will participate in this sale include Paula Sibrack Marian of Sherman; Stephen Becroft , Katie Tynan Helu and Peggy Thomas
of Ridgefield; Rosalind Liljengren of Newtown; Annette Morasco Marcus of Brookfield; and Hannes Videos Overgard of Wilton.
