The Connecticut Clay Artists is presenting its 17th annual show and sale Fridays through Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. through Aug. 27 at Gallery 25 at the railroad station on Railroad Street.

CCA work includes professionally hand-built, wheel- thrown and sculpted art made from stoneware, porcelain and earthenware.

Clay pieces in this show are both functional and decorative.

A signature of CCA is their collaborative artwork, done during their monthly workshops.

Participating members will include Paula Sibrack Marian of Sherman, Paula Cook and Katie Tynan Helu of Ridgefield, Rosalind Lilengren, Roberta Ahuja and Karen Pinto of Newtown and Sue Ann Heller of Southport.

The Connecticut Clay Artists will open its 17th annual show and sale Aug. 12 with a wine and cheese opening reception Aug. 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. in New Milford.

The opening coincides with the New Milford Art Walk.
