Christmas in Gaylordsville The village in New Milford comes alive for its annual holiday festival
Festivities kicked off Friday with the
Merwinsville Hotel Restoration
's "Christmas in Gaylordsville" reception and the
Gaylordsville United Methodist Church
's Christmas fair.
The next day, the Gaylordsville Historical Society 's Little Red Schoolhouse was open for guests, the volunteer fire department hosted a roast beef and ham dinner, and the Oratory of the Little Way sponsored a tree lighting and carol sing at the firehouse.
Those traveling along Gaylord Road were pleased to see the Elsesser lawn lit up with its traditional Neapolitan crèche.
The church fair continued into Sunday while Merwinsville Hotel also treated its visitors to a good time through Sunday.
