The Bridgewater Grange recently held its first annual chili cook-off at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.

More than 100 people attended the Jan. 13 event, where samples of 11 chilis were offered.

Near the end of the evening, after 77 people had voted, the winners were announced.

The categories ranged from vegetarian to most exotic to “five alarm chili.”

Lisa Burns, Shirley Siana, Neil Olshansky, Pam Butler, Katelyn Fischer, Frank Gianonne and Nancy Mascio helped to organize the event.
