Although Mr. McCormack and his family moved from Peekskill to New Milford in 1974, he always proudly considered himself a son of Peekskill.
He was a member of the Saint Francis Xavier Church in New Milford. He enjoyed family vacations, loved the New York Yankees , enjoyed all sports and cherished time spent watching his grandchildren compete in soccer, baseball, basketball and Irish dancing.
Mr. McCormack is survived by a daughter, Eileen McCormack and her son Mack of New Preston; a son, Daniel McCormack and his wife Maureen (Duffy) and their children Margaret, Katherine, and Daniel, all of Somers, N.Y.; a daughter, Colleen Riley and her husband Bill and their children William Jr. and Maura, all of Wakefield, Mass.; a brother, Robert and his wife Judy of Millersville, Md.; a sister,
