The seventh annual Washington Green Cemetery Tour, featuring a special World War I theme, will be held Oct. 24 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

A rain date of Oct. 26 is set.

Costumed guides will lead groups of visitors every 10 minutes from the Gunn Historical Museum on Wykeham Road to the Washington Green Cemetery.

Tour groups will follow a path of 1,000 luminaries spanning a quarter mile through the cemetery to hear costumed character actors stationed at each gravestone share their tales of military service during the war as soldiers and nurses.

The tours will depart from the museum in groups of 18 people every eight minutes, with tours to last approximately 45 minutes.

Time slot tickets for the tours will be handed out at the museum throughout the evening first come, first serve starting at 6:15 p.m. until tickets run out.

A Halloween themed movie will be shown and treats will be served at the library next door.

Patrons are encouraged to bring a flashlight.
