A cabaret performance, "Under the Radar, Part 2: George Potts in Cabaret" will be given Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m. in Kent.

Potts will perform at the parish house of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church on Bridge Street.

After completing college in the late 1970s, Potts pursued a full-time music career as a founding member of the trailblazing Chicago folk/rock/jazz band Redwood Landing before moving to Kent in 1976.

Local audiences know him as a guitarist/vocalist with The Joint Chief, as well as in occasional performances with area vocalist Wanda Houston and vibraphonist Diana Herold.

Tickets are $20 at the door.
